Dr. Monica Menendez participated in EcoSuiza 2016, a program sponsored by the Swiss Embassy in Argentina to promote Swiss sustainable practices in Latin America.
Solar Impulse II
EcoSuiza 2016 focused on mobility, and took place between June 6th and June 10th, 2016 in multiple cities in Argentina. As part of EcoSuiza 2016 Dr. Menendez was invited to hold a number of presentations, debates, and interviews in those cities. She represented the academic side, especially ETH Zurich, in a panel of three Swiss experts on sustainable mobility. The other two experts included Leonardo Rondi and Dr. Eduardo Camacho-Hübner.
