Measuring posts
The 12 measuring posts are used for tracking the trajectories of vehicles along a road segment. Every post is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor that detects the vehicles that cross the section, their dimensions, the speeds, and the distance from the post. With this system it is possible to register the longitudinal and transversal vehicle trajectory.
