Summary
The overall COST Action intends to unite and align groups from transport studies, computer science and engineering into a world leading research community that will develop radically new ways of designing road transportation support systems based on the ideas of autonomic systems. Our research supports that with the development of new macroscopic control systems using as an example the city of Zurich, and the evaluation of other automatic traffic controls supported with microsimulation.
