Abstract

Railway regulators today are interested in integrating On-Board Monitoring (OBM) techniques into their network systems. These innovative methods enable more cost-effective and rapid monitoring of the targeted infrastructure without disrupting traffic. However, OBM data typically exhibit higher errors compared to traditional inspection data. Thus, a comprehensive study of OBM data becomes imperative for their effective application in infrastructure management, particularly in the planning of maintenance and inspections.
